Siri AI integration into new 2013 Mercedes A-Class

Mercedes says the A-Class will feature comprehensive iPhone integration, including the use of Siri, Apple’s latest voice-based intelligent assistant. The automaker’s in-house-designed integration app, called Digital DriveStyle, will make many of the iPhone’s features accessible through the A-Class’ COMAND infotainment interface. Apps like Facebook, Twitter, and Aupeo Internet radio can be brought up on the car’s central display screen, which itself could pass for an Apple product looks-wise. Siri can also be accessed through the Digital DriveStyle App. Available on the iPhone 4S, Siri can interpret natural speech instead of requiring specific voice commands. Users can ask Siri to make changes to their calendar, give weather updates, and send voice-to-text messages through the A-Class’ infotainment controls.
